Curriculum

The Executive MScom Program prepares communications professionals to play a key role in their organizations strategic management, bringing relationships with stake-holders and publics to the center of management policy.

Leveraging communication skills at a strategic level

The Executive MScom Program prepares communication professionals to perform at an executive level and contribute to the management of their organizations’ identity, image, communications strategy and, most importantly, corporate strategy. MScom’s unique approach calls upon students to look beyond the standard view of integrated communications, bringing relationships with stakeholders and publics to the center of management policy.

Upon completion of the program, MScom graduates will have learned to:

  • understand the strategic and operational challenges of an organization and how these are linked to managing communications
  • develop communication strategies that address the complexity of a global environment
  • manage complex communications tasks, including brand management, corporate culture and corporate identity management, reputation management, internal relations, financial and investor relations, public affairs, issues management, crisis management, sponsoring and advertising
  • coordinate these tasks as integrated elements of corporate and marketing communications
  • develop integrated communications at each stakeholder level
  • monitor the communications environment with reliable scientific research strategies and methods
